So here it is……The lovable, Edwardian structure built from the original 1904 plans, that over the decades has played host to everyone from royalty to local families out for a weekend stroll. Although a few liberties have been taken in the internal layout of the kiosk, it is all but a faithful reproduction of the structure that burnt down in 2003.
“I congratulate all involved in restoring this wonderful building.
It is a marvellous marriage between the heritage old and
the new ……and I feel a great sense of pride.”
- John Thwaites, State Environment Minister
The kiosk serves coffee, milkshakes, icecream, soft drinks, juices and light snacks such as fish and chips, ciabattas, sausage rolls, pies and soup on the deck from the cafe menu.
